"where to Point the fingers"

Captain E'Shok stood in his quarters, observing the space where the T'Kel was destroyed. Where 168 Vulcans where killed. All to what? Sabotage? Andorians? He was out raged.

"The Andorians have gone too far this time." He said to his panels. He walked over to the screen and tapped on it. It brought up a new message composition.

-------------------------------------------

To Vulcan High Command

From Captain E'Shok of Taskforce 6-A

--------------------------------------------

I regret to inform the high command, The T'Kel has been destroyed in the line of duty, no survivors. The cause was an explosion, NOT an accidentent but an act of sabotage. By the Andorians.

A device has been found of Andorian origin, my engineers are working none stop to learn its secrets. Ambassador Tovek will arrive to meet the security council in 73 hours. Where he will, in detail, disclose all information about the device.

Please inform the officer's family of this unfortunate loss.

Thank you.

End Transmission

---------------------------------------------

He closed the channel and looked to the window again. There were too many reasons for Andorians to do this sabotage, they always did. He thought. They've been at war for many years, and this time, it may be the conclusion of a life time of combat, this may conclude our agression or the elimination of another major power in the Alpha quadrant.

Where now to point the fingers? The device was clearly Andorian in origin, but what if it was not? Perhaps it was the Klingon's attempt to divide the major powers apart and drive them to war? Perhaps it was the Xindi, or even the Romulan Empire, to weaken the powers until they're weak enough ... for an invasion. He came upon the thought. It was horrid, he emptied his mind immediately.

No, IT MUST be the Andorians. He convinced himself. Has he gone insane? Was he obessed with his parent's death because of Andorians? he did not know. All he knew was, that all evidence was pointing towards the Andorians and that is where his fingers will point as well ... for now.

He tapped on the Com on his panel.

"Ensign T'plin, set course back to earth, maxium warp."
