Itana awoke with a start, fully dressed in the center of her bed with the PADD containing yesterday's diagnostic report on her chest. She'd never set the alarm since she hadn't intended on falling asleep in the first place. Frantically, she glanced at the chronometer. 08:30. "Oh no!" She yelled as she rolled to her feet. "Thirty minutes!" She had half an hour left to shower, change and turn in the report. Tossing the PADD beside her she washed and changed as quickly as possible. As she emerged from the lavatory, she saw Jonas sitting on the bed beside the PADD, looking up at her with a completely innocent __expression.

 

"Thank you soo much, Jonas." She ruffled his head with a sarcastic smile. "I honestly don't know why I put up with you sometimes."

 

Jonas yawned with indifference and fluttered away, hovering by the replicator with a loud yowl. Itana laughed, despite her annoyance and, after giving the padd a quick glance to make sure the report was still there, she ordered Jonas' breakfast and took off down the hallway. She reached engineering with a full three minutes to spare and quickly downloaded the report from her PADD to the ship's database with a sigh of relief.

Cloaking Device Hardware Diagnostic

Stardate 0406.4 09:00 hours

Primary Activation System:

 

Diagnostic examination of the graviton polarity source generator allocated for use with the cloaking device adjunct to the main deflector array showed nominal phase-synchronized output through secondary subspace field distortion amplifiers. The system's primary activation sequence follows, 4 tablespoons butter, divided, 3 tablespoons minced onion, 1 garlic clove, minced, 1 cup white rice,2 cups chicken stock, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup chopped parsley, 3 tablespoons slivered, sun dried oil-packed tomatoes, 1 lemon, juiced, 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 1/2 pounds whole trout, boned. No further output data is determinable at diagnostic levels below level 2. Which would require the cloaking system to be offline.

The primary electroplasma supply comes from the EPS taps one through four, on the main power transfer conduits and are allocated for use solely by either the cloaking system or the ablative armor generator as these systems can not be used in tandem. Place 1/3 to 1/2 cup rice into the cavity of the trout. Spoon the remaining rice around the fish. Cover the surrounding rice with aluminum foil, leaving the fish exposed.
