"New Threats are Brewing"

Ambassador Tovek rose up from his meditations to face his friend, E'Shok, who had also risen from deep thought. The two Vulcan men noded and proceeded to the docking port. Neither of them had sleep since 37 hours ago, however the current turn of events had kept them awake.

 

The door opened and let out a hiss of air, there were now 4 Vulcan men staring at eachother in the face. Tovek stood, studying the other two men's face.

 

"Your shuttle is waiting, ambassador." One of the two spoke in a soft voice to Tovek. He noded.

 

"Then it is agreed, that the High command will listen to what i have said?" Tovek inquired.

 

"No, the high command had rejected your ideas, however you have been recalled for another reason. Follow me."

 

Tovek and E'Shok followed the two into a small craft. The pilot noded the men's arrival and begun detaching the docking clamps. The shuttle groaned lightly as it is pulled away from E'Shok's ship and down, it flew towards the meeting place.

 

The pilot landed the craft and they stepped out. The three strangers escorted Tovek and E'Shok to the building. They walked inside and turned left. They entered a room.

 

"As i said, the Romulan em, " The speaker paused. "And here is Ambassador Tovek now, with his Advisor, Captain E'shok." He greeted them and motioned them to sit down. Tovek and E'shok took a seat and sat down. The speaker continued.

 

"As i was saying. Intelligence report suggests that some Vulcans on this planet are not who appear to be. A few weeks ago, this Man was captured and detained." The speaker motioned to the screen where a face was disaplayed.

 

"He said that he was a scienist, who was heading towards a military research lab, he was caught with this." He paused and held up a Vulcan phaser.

 

The crowd of Ambassadors and advisors mummered at this discovery. The speaker continued.

 

"This does not signify many things, however it does suggest that either a sepertist movement is developing or Romulans are setting up a spy network. I believe none of them are true, however, inorder to factor all the variables into this equation, NX05, our security council will increase survelince and security counter measures. In the meantime, we will wait." The speaker concluded.

 

"Thank you, Ambassador T'Rek, please sit down." T'Rek sat down beside Tovek.

 

"If you heard what i said, then our meeting is completed, think about this. We may have trouble in the future. If you agree, then you will meet me in the security council chamber." He noded quietly to Tovek and turn his attention to the next speaker.

 

"Council members, it has come to my attention that ... ..."

 

Tovek pondered as the next speaker spoke. What was T'Rek saying. He thought, but he could not think about this right now. He paid his full attention to the speaker and waited.
