Dock Worker Dimitri Koralev

 

The Dockworker read the latest comunique from the newly anointed foremann of the NX-5 Construction Project....

 

"Nyet!! Nutz!" Dimtri Koralev, spat out his coffee in disgust. What on Earth is this person thinking? For 10 years he had helped built ships for Earth's infant "Starfleet", From Freighters to NX-01 and the unfinished NX-02. This proposal by this Moore character clearly doesn't take the human factor into account.

 

"One 10 minute Lunch Break??!" Koralev scowled. Certainly he thought this Commander Moore was of North American stock, not of Stalinist times of old. But what he saw was madness! He'd seen one workpod pilot smash into NX-02's port Nacelle Strut because he was overworked. There were rumblings that the Columbia had one than more defective welds due to improper plasma welds brought on by only a slightly acclerated work schedule. He wondered if the whistleblowers finally brought the prior foreman down.

 

This Elias Moore must be Stalin reincarnated...the Russian Workpod Pilot thought. Well if that were the case there was going to be hell to pay if things were not done right and on time. He had some hull plating to deliver on his next run to the NX-05 dock, and he didn't want to be the first one on this new Foreman's firing squad
