Some of us......have seen him in a hottub, count your lucky stars Vile!

t'Rex

How could I have missed THAT?  Wait --- is that a good thing?

In a word...consider yourself lucky. I mean, who wants to see a 71 year old man, balding, teeth falling out, hearing aid making so much noise because of the water and skin seeming to peel in a hot tub? Still have nightmares about it... :P  :)

yeah really, seeing a 77 paling, balding, senile, wrinkling in places you didn't even know existed, skin peeling off, deaf, blind, mute, teeth falling out, Nam amputee commodore rotting in a tub? ughhhh, now I know why I don't get any awards, hehe

Boy...  A9 ages quickly!  lol

Pretty soon he's going to be in the triple digits and banned from most public places without a leash because of his looks.    :)    :P

Ya'll are just cruel.  lol

yeah for once i'd have to agree with randy, one day a9's just gonna snap and he's gonna come for us all in the middle of the night.

When you're lying in bed you'll hear the tap tap of his zimmer frame on your doorstep, then you'll hear the door creak open (or is that his joints?) and then you'll hear him get to your staircase and try to climb the first step...and then you'll hear him try the first step, again and again until finally you hear a groan and a thump. In the morning when you get up you'll find a strange old creature in a silver bathing suit at the bottom of your staircase and when he wakes up and stares at you they'll be that awkward silence which really sucks. trust me it's happened to me, how do you think the cops got those photos of him?

I am still faithful to STSF but its for the days the Reaent doesn't sim.

Just an FYI that many are discovering...  Players can be on more than one STSF ship.  :)  So if you have two nights that you want to be simming, or a couple of different kinds of sims you want to try (like Klingon or Original Series (two that just happen to come to mind!)) the Universe is open to you.

You don't need to go through the academy again, you simply need to send an email to [email protected] and request the additional ship.  Let the personnel manager know your current ship assignment in the email.

Rather than go straight to the STSF personal manager what you can also do is catch the CO or XO of a ship you are considering joining and drop them a PM letting them know you're interested.  Some of them will even forward you a copy of the crew roster and you'll know specifically which positions are available.  It's really easy for FredM to assign you to the specific ship and position you want if your new CO has already agreed to let you have it (provided of course that you have graduated).

This is what I did to be assigned to the QoB-Lakota.  I told Huff and KBear I was interested in the ship and they forwarded me a copy of the roster.  Chief Engineer was available and I was able to use my real-life engineering experience to negotiate for the position.  It's pretty rare in the STSF multiverse for an Ensign to be named Chief of anything but you're one step ahead if you do your homework.
