Outrageous Demands

“This is completely out of the question. This is completely outrageous” Admiral Forrest exclaimed after reading the Andorian demands.

”Pink skin, there is nothing outrageous in our demands. We are only protecting the interests of Andorians.” Replied Ambassador Akeen

”Nothing outrageous?” Forrest walked over to the Ambassador “You want me to place an Andorian as our first officer. How is that not outrageous”

”You allowed a Vulcan to be a first officer onboard the Enterprise. Should the Andorians not have the same respect” The Ambassador took a small pause “Should I remind you, it was an Andorian ship that helped earth protect itself from the Xindi attack and not the Vulcans?”

“The Vulcans will not have that much leeway on this ship as they

did on Enterprise.” Forrest paces his office “We are grateful of the

Andorian help against the Xindi, but giving the Andorians this

much power will compromise what we are trying to do. That is too

prove that humans can do it on their own”

”It would be a security risk for Andoria, if you were allowed to

venture into space without an Andorian commander. We will not

permit it” The Ambassador looked at the Admiral awaiting a

response.

”You will not permit it? I think you’re forgetting that this isn’t

Andoria. This is Earth, you don’t have a say in what we do here!”

The admiral yelled back to the ambassador

”If you launch your ship without fulfilling our demands, your new

Vessel will be attacked upon. It will be destroyed. Consider our

demands more closely and get back to us with your decision.” The

Ambassador replied and then exited the Admiral’s office.
