Dear mom,

As you may have heard i have been injured in the line of duty. what a way to begin a starfleet career. I'm begging to have severe regrets about joining the starfleet corps of engineers but i really wanted to follow in your footsteps!!!! From the crew that i have met aboard this wonderfull ship i like the Chief engineer the most why you may ask is because he is totaly illogical yet intelligent at the same time. I promise as soon as i have some leave saved up i'll Come visit you aboard the Vulture and i'll see what i can do to enhance your quantum slipstream drive prototype. I've met the captain somewhat but i dont know what he's like maybe i'll go bye him a beer in the officers lounge after this hefty mission is over and done with. Anyway so how's the family i havnt heard from my brother in ages if you talk to him tell him to drop me a line i miss him dearly i wonder if he graduated from starfleet academy yet???? As for me i must be off i have to go and see what repairs need to be done in the cargobay. hope to hear from you soon love you lots mom.
