Okay, I couldn't fight the temptation to plug another poll on the boards...

Well as we all know the final chapter of one of the greatest trilogies came out on DVD/VHS last Tuesday. Now as few people know, I loved the film, unfortuantely I did not attend any of the Trilogy Tuesday shows back in December.

Now before you put my head on a pike and cry hearsay (Blu ^_^), I had a final on that Tuesday, not to mention a final the following day in the morning (Though it was early enough for me to catch two showings of ROTK later on in the day ;)). Also, the only Trilogy Tuesday showing in town sold out an hour after the tickets went on sale.

Well, now that me and my sister have all three of the films on DVD we've already sat down and had our own personal Trilogy Tuesday from the comfort of our own couch, and it was sure a lot of fun! What a better way of killing some days over the Memorial Day holiday then watching all three of the films back to back. :D

But we, of course, plan on having an Extended Trilogy Tuesday marathon in which we blow off 12 hours of our life to watch all three of the Extended versions of the films in December. ;)

But that is still a while's away, so go ahead and share any of your ROTK DVD/VHS experiences, has anyoned bought it yet and had there own marathon?? Please share. ;)

I will be making 2 more purchases... one for the extended version... the other being the boxed set of all 3 together.

All I ask for is a FINAL boxed set of all three with even MORE footage than the three seperate extended versions! Even ten minutes more. I'll buy it for ten minutes more. Thirty minutes... even better. An HOUR??? My world will then be complete.

Unfortunately, I don't have many cult-personality friends, so sitting through all three in one day would have to be a solitary event, and that's just a little too weird. So I will content myself to watch in late night short increments - just me and the cat on my couch... ahh...

I am looking for ROTK, on VHS to complete my collection (Yes, I have VHS, and like it! :-P ). Then I might buy the box set if it's decently priced & worth the wait.
