Caught with a hand in the cookie jar

"Holy Makinoly."

Andrea Knlwtchr leaned into the console before her and narrowed her eyes. As her eyes adjusted to the combination of dim, strobing green light and the darkness of the dead console panel, she could just make out what appeared to be an image behind. Leaning in now so that her nose almost touched the panel, she rested her hand lightly onto the terminal below.

With a rush of yellow light, the panel before her filled with Borg hyrogliphics, rushing upward for a moment or two before stopping abruptly. Then it repeated the action. Andrea looked down and realized that her fingers were still lightly touching the sensitive screen below. She raised her hand quickly and backed up in time to see the terminal screen come to a halt again.

The Counselor looked around alittle to make sure no one else on the away team had seen what she had done. Her eyes fell upon Commander Jaruq and she paused in a child-like, wide-eyed, teeth-griting stance. Luckily, he still had his back to her. That is, until she returned her gaze to the screen.

"Incredible."

Andrea just couldnt help it. Its was incredible. This was their only chance at finding out as much as they could about the Borg and their technology. The damage, if any, was already done. Frankly, she was having a hard time feeling bad about tampering with the console. If they were going to get anywhere, they would have to take some small chances.

Running through the screen again, the Leuitenant recorded the information onto a padd. She made a mental note to be sure to add the information to the UT later. For now, however, she was determined in gathering more details about their cybornetic friends.
