"A Very Challengened Betazoid" Part 1

"A Very Challenged Betazoid"

Chat Log

Ensign Jerry Graham

Assistant Engineer

USS REAENT

CO= Lt. McLean

Fellow Engineers on board at present time= LtJg Keraz

BEGIN LOG-----

Before I begin in explaining what has taken place on board the Bolian

Station, I would first like to explain a little about Betazoids.

"Betazoids are actually uncomfortable around those, like the Ferengi

and Breen, whose minds they cannot read. Similarly, the minds of animals can be

a bit frightening to them, and they tend to prefer smaller animals. Their mind

contains the paracortex, their telepathic lobe, which is highly capable of

recovery from injury, and includes the "metaconsciousness," or a

trauma filter. Psilosynine is the neurotransmitter involved. In addition, their

REM sleep frequency is different than for most humanoids."

Being in the transporter is an amazing experience for anyone who has

never been through one. Feeling the atoms being pulled away, and then being put

right back into place.

The Away Team consisted of Commandore Ridire, Lt. McLean, Mr. Shamor, Mr.

Payton, and mysself; Ensign Graham. The Station was amazing, the walls full of

Bolian art and such. What happened next led to my suspision. Mr. Wero the

Station leader came and told us if you do anything with out his knowing, a

Bolian Prison will become your new home.

He lead us all to where we were "supposed" to be working. It

was a massive room. Then the unthinkable happened.

McLean: "Mr. Graham, bring up the repair logs and lets see where we

start."

Graham: "Aye Aye Sir."

And I set off to work. What I found was not the logs but an Encrypted

screen.

Graham: "Um sir the logs are Encrypted."

McLean: " Are you sure?" He turned to Shamor, "Cheif you

got a moment?"

Shamor came over and began to Encrypt the logs.

END LOG-----
