Ensign Bokrah's Personal log, S.D. 50301.26

:Computer, Start recording personal log, stardate 50301.26:

Well, after door problem (my quarters' door jammed :o) was fixed, I left only to find that the Wyvern and the Griffin have received a royal *** kicking and are practically falling apart in the half of the shuttlebay that currently still exists ::drops exo-comp2 on foot:: OWW! aw jeez, well after getting Garnoopy's (not snoopy) memo, talking about a month of work on the shuttles, I plan on getting my exo-comp2 (my famous refit of the original model to make them totally non-sentient and more intelligent) reconfigured especially for this got, and they can work 24/7, so I have figured about 2 weeks of working, I plan on materializing 2 more exo-comp2s to have 4, 2 for each shuttle, to meet the 2 week goal, but all the computer reprogramming and replacing needs to be done by hand as the exo-comp2s are insufficient for that, and the shuttlebay, we'll leave that to Garnoopy and T'Mara, well, I have some reconfiguring and materializing to do...

Lessee... a highly intelligent being with absolutely no self-awareness... wonder how long that will last...

PS - today's dictionary definition of sentience seems to be based on whether something is "concious" in the sense that it can physically "feel" its surroundings; but I think the Star Trek definition revolved around a less physical form of conciousness, or "self-awareness."
