t’Vixen looked around Main Dheno. At last it was finally hers. She had put in her time. She has sucked up to that…that…t’Aehjae. She had smiled and nodded at that idiot N’Dak making him think she was loyal to him. And now her chance had come she was Daise. And she intended to stay Daise—regardless of what she had to do to keep it.

She looked over her new desk. She spotted a report that the ‘moron’ had typed up before he was carted of to the br’teth. She read over it.

MISSION/INCINDENT REPORT

Arrain Destorie N’Dak

CSEC RES Talon

Stardate 0404.16

TO: Khre'Riov L'haiy t'Rexan

Commander RES Talon

SUBJECT: INSURRECTION/SECURITY FAILURE

>Begin Report<

Mission Summary:

Upon return from the planet Skoru, An Alliance was forged with the Squids. Upon their arrival upon the ship—insurrection against the command staff of the vessel occurred.

Incident Review:

The Daise Dheno, his assistant Dheno t’Aehjae, engineer Arrain Ba’tok and Ered Issaha N’Dak became unwilling pawns of their Squid overlords. During the process, ship systems became damaged, the Khre’Riov was left for yy’a, and Daise Dheno N’Dak became a th’ann of the Lloann’na vessel Arcadia.

Recommendations:

After review of the incident I have determined that it was a failure in my duties as Daise Dheno to allow the Squids on board in the first place. I take full accountability in this matter. However, I do suggest that leniency be held towards the other members of the insurrection—they were not able to control what they were doing. In particular Arrain Ba’Tok and t’Aehjae were both directly exposed to Grand Squid’s mind control. I myself was also exposed to the Grand squids direct telepathy.

However, as senior officer in the event, I am responsible for those under my command. It was on my orders that they cooperated with the Squids on planet Skoru. Further review of my actions indicate that I should have done otherwise. It has been my failure, na there’s that has caused this most unfortunate incident to occur and my lapse in judgment should na fall upon them.

It is my recommendation that those involved in the insurrection have this file placed in their official records. It is also my recommendation that they na be held for treason against the Rihannsu Empire, they were only following orders and there is na need to further shame them and their families. Further, I recommend placing commendations in the files of those valiant officers who resisted the Squids and were able to retake the ship.

As I have made clear, I will take full responsibility for the failure of security in this matter.

It made her sick the way he groveled. He was weak now and she knew it. t’Vixen decided conveniently to have never saw that report and tapped the delete button.

She looked about the myriad of scattered reports and ISD’s on the Daise desk. She would have to establish her grasp on the Daise job quickly before some petty underling rose up. And she would have to shine while doing it too. She grinned. Charming the Khre’Riov would be more difficult than the two former Daise and she loved a challenge.

She turned her attention to the young Erien in the corner. tr’Vosh. He was in need of some ‘sculpting’ but he would work just fine as her new project just to prove how capable she was at being the Daise Dheno.

Her wicked smile crossed her lips again. A light beeped on her consol—N’Dak and t’Aehjae were to be sent to ch’Rihan for three days and they would need an escort of the Talon. She would personally handle their escort to ch’Rihan—if for no other reason than to rub it in their faces that she had replaced them both. Ie, that would be very enjoyable to see the face of that smug N’Dak when he saw that he had already been replaced.

Almost as pleasurable as it had been to see the face on that Lloann’na th’ann when she kissed him after stabbing his hand and pinning him to the floor of the interrogation room. As she recalled the incident with the Arcadia, she couldn’t help but wonder what had become of them. She paused only for a second then narrowed her eyes and leaned back into her chair.

She was the Daise and she had na intention of giving it back with out a fight—besides who would miss the idiot N’Dak anyway?
