Power

Thanks to Feanor and Graham for use of their characters for this log.

When I resist, …. The concentration of power

I am resisting the processes of death,

because the concentration of power is what always precedes,

the destruction of Human initiative,

and,

therefore of Human energy.

-Woodrow Wilson

Graham eased Juhdia into a chair, Juhdia waved Graham away, “I’ll be okay in a minute or so.” As Juhdia spoke his stem cells began to go to work repairing his broken arm.

Graham's eyes widened, "A minute!? You just fell a deck and broke your arm! We'll discuss this in sickbay."

Juhdia rolled his arm a few times, his face winced from the pain, but then it stopped.

Juhdia looked up to Graham, “See, all better. Now Lieutenant I have worked to get to. But hey, thanks any way.

Graham saw how quickly Juhdia’s arm had healed. "Bloody, how did you do that?"

Juhdia waved it off and the two men went to work. Juhdia went over to the Cloaking Device and started to see what was going wrong. Not that Juhdia knew too much about the device, but from past experience he knew that the device not only masked the physical, but the ships energy signatures as well. The ship was running silent, but there was still too much energy being put out from the ship. Lieutenant Feanor was fielding information to Juhdia and Graham, but there was still so much more information needed

Main Engineering was like a hub of bees working together to insure that the ship would still be able to function, Juhdia did not know who was attacking, that was for Tactical, however for his own needs, he wished to know who it was.

Once Juhdia was finished with the repairs to the Cloaking Device, he moved over to where Lt. Graham was working, “Sir, I can have a damage control team ready to roll for external repairs to the hull in five minutes. And if at all possible, could I lead the team?”
