Next Trek Villian...

  1. 1. By the end of Season 4 (saying there is one), Enterprise will likely complete the Xindi story. Who do you think should be the major villian after?

    • The Romulans (Earth-Romulan War starts in 2 years)
      12
    • The Klingons (shouldn't they hate us by now?)
      2
    • A future Federation world
      3
    • An enemy that is destroyed within a season
      1
    • The Borg
      2
    • Something completely new

Hey there,

Poll kind of speaks for itself. Hoping there is a fourth season of Star Trek: Enterprise, which we should know in another few weeks, who should be the big villian after?

Personally, my vote is the Romulans. The four/five year Earth-Romulan war is supposed to begin in what...2156? Currently, in Enterprise time, 2153/2154?

Hey there,

Whew.. all's right wth the world again. Heh heh...

Anyways, I'd like to see more Rommies in Enterprise, it'd be fun to see what events transpired between them and Earth leading up to the Romulan/UESN wars two years later. :)

Hey there,

I saw the post, and it hurt my soul.

Anyways....I voted for the Romulans, since a back story will need to be developed if we're gonna fight a war with them. But, I hate to say that I dont even know if Ent will last that long.

I think it will be the Kilgons for two reasons

1) We have already seen the klingons in ENT already and they hate us. (If ENT has seen the rommies already correct me, I missed season 1 because I wasn't really into ST then)

2) In TNG I remember someone saying that there was a war between the Humans and the Klingons that could have been prevented by the prime-directive.

But I agree with NDak, a rommie war would be cool.

I regretably also agree with Kroells, season 3 will be hard to beat.

I also wonder if enterprise is creating new fans of ST. My realatives who liked TOS and TNG never got into any other later series.

We saw rommies.

I vote for Romulans because...well Romulans are interesting! We know so much about Klingons and Vulcans, but alot about the Romulans are still a mystery.

What about the Klingons do we not know? And frankly Klingons are just too predictable. Honor...warriors...okay already! :)

That leaves ENT with a lot of story to cover. The problem is only that they don't get to see their faces...but that's not a problem. Maybe they just wear masks like the Breen?

Romulans in this period could behave in any way...they could have changed so dramatically after the Earth/Rom war that ENT could pretty much do whatever they want with them. Political, perhaps cultural revolution, we've learned, is apparently pretty common on Romulus.

Furthermore...we've entered a time period where the Romulans and Earth are on the verge of war...which coincides with the founding of the Federation. ENT producers would have to be drunk and stupid not to tap into that amazing Trek history, and fast!

I say get rid of this ridiculous Expanse crud and get back to Earth...start messing around with the Romulans and really get it back to something familiar to Trek fans.

I stopped watching Enterprise a few months ago...but if they started doing things with building a Federation fleet and founding it, and starting the Romulan War, I'd be a regular viewer again.

Aus LLoann'na are so anxious to see we Rihanssu aren't au?

Anywhooo....

I would actualy watch Enterpise if and when they get to the Romulans I am looking forward to seeing what theBattle scenes will look like with Modern CGI. I am also looking forward to seeing how B7B handle the whole war--whther it is is like the Earth-Minbari War in B5 with the Romulans overwelming the Earth forces and Earth manages to win one big battle or if they don't something else...

:: clicks to amazon.ca and buys and orders a Rommie dictionary:: 2-3 weeks for dilivery?

Back to what I was going to post in the first place...

Take a glace at this hint-hint on StarTrek.com

This part caught my eye:

Not so much an appearance by the Romulans as a physical presence in the form of their deadly orbital mines and specifically one that attaches itself to the hull of Enterprise. When Reed tries to diffuse it, his leg becomes impaled by one of its spikes. This episode, if you will pardon the pun, gets Starfleet started off on the wrong foot with the Romulans and is merely a harbinger of things to come.   This is where it all begins, taking the Star Trek saga chronologically.

I think I can make a conclusion on this one. StarTrek.com put that thier purposely, the person the wrote the article knows what the plot idea for season 4 is.

Well better then the Romulans, I mean Romulans are cool and all but they were the main bad guy in TNG, and a big part in DS9. I think we should go for a totally differant angle and use the Bolians as an enemy or an ally.

Better than the Romulans, my foot! What are they gonna do, bicker with Archer like two backyard neighbours? Get real, man! ::triple smacks him:: As Vex said, there's alot about early Romulan history we don't know.. like I said earlier. I suspect in later seasons of ENT, we'll see alot more of our Rihannsu friends.

Bolians...ick ick ick ick ick ick ick.....

Alright...so I've got that out of my system...another Race that I would like to see some more of is the Tellarians. If I rember right the Federation fought a war with them too so that could be something for ENT to pursue.

I am simply waiting on my Rihannsu brothers to be shown in such a primative time, so I'd say the Rihannsu.

Also I'd like to see them beat those Lloann'na.....
