LtJg Garnoopy Personal Log, 50301.22, Part II

My character is unconsious in a shuttle, so he couldn't have technically recorded this log or the previos part. However, logs are nice to have to know what happened to people and such, so I put this together. It is a kind of log/story. Enjoy!

=/\= Computer Resume Recording =/\=

I ran towards the shuttle as fast as I could, nearly slammed onto my face on the ground, but managed to right myself before tripping and causing a big problem. I literally dove into the shuttle, and then pulled myself to the engineering counsel, bringing up transporter control.

The energy pulse went out, and the dampening field fluctuated. I had to remodulate the transport particle beam to prevent Eason and Sub from being scattered throughout the atmosphere, and keeping a lock was next to impossible. Roget snarling at me didn’t help, but I ignored her and worked as fast as I ever have in my lifetime.

I got the lock, and slammed my fist on the energize button. Eason and Suberance were beamed to the shuttle, Eason conscious and only bruised, carrying a dozen or so weapons which were disabled during transport, and Suberance badly injured, though I don’t know how badly yet.

Roget blew us off the ground, heading upwards and out of there faster than I knew the Griffin could go. The Griffin systems were still functioning at peak performance, I continually monitored them, hoping she held together with Roget at the helm.

Suddenly, with no warning, the cloak failed on the shuttle, leaving us vulnerable to ground fire from Kurtz’s group. The group wasn’t very happy, and fired upon the shuttle just as I raised shields. Roget attempted to evade their fire, but we got hit hard. I was thrown from my seat to the ground. I looked around, and then pulled myself back to the engineering panel, attempting to figure out what was going on with the shuttle’s systems.

The power relays on the cloaking generator had fused, I’ll have to make a mental note to replace the relays with bio-neural packs, they won’t do that. There hadn’t been time to fully test the defensive systems of the shuttle with McFly trying to learn how to fly her around.

We got hit again, a direct hit to the engines. The warp core went offline, and impulse generators failed. Thruster control began to go offline. I threw all the power I could into the engines for Roget, to get us back to the Manticore.

Roget aimed for the shuttle bay, and flew us in hot. The shuttle was moving way to fast for a nice simple landing on the shuttle bay floor, and I knew it. Though there wasn't time to say or do anything about it.

We flew through the shuttle bay forcefield, and slammed into the Wyvern, I saw a panel come at my face………..

Log paused due to lapse in speaking, awaiting further instructions
