I'm not an Engineer

Ensign Anari Erias

Personal Journal

SD 10404.17

:: Anari stood holding a large box of spare parts ordered by commander LoAmi. She understood why the parts were needed or how to repair the main sensor array's computers. She could repair them with another engineer, but The Arcadia was so damaged that engineers are all over the place. They hard twices as hard as every one else, of course they do. She thought, they were engineers, repairers, they fix things.::

:: She took the Turbo lift back to engineeing and walked in, engineers with their skins stained and burned and bruised and just about any other thing that could have happened to them while they repaired the ship. She layed down the box along with a padd, which contain the need for a engineer to accompany her to the main sensors on deck 12 and repair it. Still, she stood, not knowing how to proceed. The engineers worked hard with their tools and spare parts, their tools and plasma wielders. She thought to herself, the will required to be an engineer must be great, the work, the danger, an engineer must endure them all, not to mention the threat of a failure in the bulkheads beside them. She stepped a little back at the thought of that and stared across engineering.::

:: she compared Arcadia's Main engineering now and months ago when she was posted here. The difference was clear. Normally these engineers won't be crawling, running or anything else that would get them to a breach or a leaking plasma conduit. She glanced at the different sections in engineering, the dedicated officers, bruises and burns covered them from head to toe, willing to help, willing to fight for ship. She thought.::

:: Then she realizes what she is her self. A scientist, science have most connections with engineering, she knew she could help them, and she will. But she thought about something else; She was an engineer but she wasn't a dedicated one, she knew the basics, but lack the experience.::

:: Anari finally getting ahold of a engineer, and they, dedicated officers, marched in to the TL and up they go to start repairs on the sensors. she knew the Arcadia needs every Man, Woman, scientist or engineer, to help.::
