Personal Log

Begin Log:

 

It looks like this will not be my last log since the Republic has survived the conflicting tractor beam tug of war. we took cover within an asteroid to begin repairs, magnetic interlock repairs have been compete but two of the sixteen interlocks will have to be replaced the next time we are docked, however that will not matter. The Admiral gave the order to engage the insectoid ship to assist the Sprint in their battle. The plan was to bombard the insectoid ship with the missiles from the planet encompass with our own photon torpedoes to weaken the ship’s shields. However the attack was miscalculated leading to the destruction of the Republic, and now the crew are in the brig while the injured are in sickbay, unfortunately I am one of those in sickbay under surgery being treated for second degree plasma burns. Only six months and the ship I’m serving on has been destroyed.
