I'm not watching it. I'm waiting for it to start over Monday in the 7pm slot. That way, I can tape what I can't watch. I am looking forward to it though. There are many early episodes I haven't seen.

I think the DS-9 marathon is long over now. But I think it airs everyday at 8 PM EST, if I am not mistaken. Gonna have to check your TV Guides though.

I had fun watching it. It was the only series I had never seen...I wasn't into trek until Enterprise came around and Voyager was gone. I really wish they would have started later though. I can guarauntee that not very many people saw Emissary parts 1 and 2...They were so early.

But...I really like the character clashes between Odo and Quark...It's going to be fun to watch it, since now I'll be able to catch all the episodes in order, and I can't wait till Worf makes his way to DS9.

My dollars and sense,

Yes. Legos do make great 3d models. I understand there is a lego ThemePark in Carlsbad, California featuring lego structures (along with the main draw several Lego rides).

Builiding DS9? I would love to see those Lego Maniacs do that at one of their themeparks. Better yet the original Enterprise. Things would probably be huge.

I could have made mine 6 large docking clamps but i ran out of resources. I only 3. anything is possible especially with lego. Original constitution? 400 meters, that's alot of plastic blocks.

A couple of things:

I have sorta enjoyed the marathon:

The Good

1) I had forgotten how good of an actor Avery Brooks (Sisco) was

2) Garek was soo cool

3) I had forgotten how awsome the Defiant was

4) ahh the Cardassians ahhh...

5) Wow the Ferengi really are funny (no offense Krax)

The Bad

1) Yep I still hate the Bajorans

2) Ack Jullian is irritating

3) Nechev was such a...yah....I'll leave it at that

4) Yeah I really hate the Bajorans (Present Company excluded)

5) How many ways can you blow up a runabout really?

6) It took them how long to realize that a few runabouts weren't much use?

7) Yeah the Bajorans....

The Verdict

The Marathon has reminded me that DS9 actually wasn't as bad of show as I remembered...and in all fairness niether were the Bajorans nearlly as whiney as I remember.

Well as bad as I thought DS9 was, it is still better than accounting class.

Hey there,

Again, I think DS9 was overall a great series. There are only two issues I have with it:

1) Two wars back to back. Sorry, just seemed a little too much. I think I probably could have handled the Dominion War a little better if it's introduction had been handled slightly...eh...just a different way.

2) Seeing the first several episodes of DS9, I found that the entire "Sisko"/"Prophet" thing was really a quality subplot in the beginning. Yet, by the middle of the sixth season, the writers had twisted it. It really became uncomfortable to watch. The entire ending dealing with that subplot was just really way out in...well...I think past left field, outside the parking lot, down the street, to the left of the deli, in the downstairs bathroom.
