A few more little bugs:

1. Some of the graphics don't change from warping ships to nonwarping ships properly, leaving some of your own ships traveling next to you at impulse, but with the warp-type graphics.

2. You have to press the up key to get yourself to "max speed" before going to warp. Try this: go to warp, drop to impulse. Try to go to warp again (without picking up anything or doing anything else that should change your max impulse speed). You can't.

Also, max impulse speed doesn't change instantly on picking something up. It changes only after you change speed manually.

3. As far as I can tell, there's no way to stop your own ships from getting stuck in an unwinnable battle. I took 10 NX-class ships to destroy every Romulan in sight. By the end, I had, but I'd lost all of my ships that got stuck attacking the Romulan starbase.

Also, the ships seem to get "stuck" behind resource asteroids.

Great game!

Hmm, I'd still have to say that I would like to see a list of the ships names, or atleast find out how many different names there are.

Oh wait! You can fix your grammar errors "Mr. STATION IS BLOWED UP." :P Also, when that message comes up, I can't recive any information from anything else. The message flashes for less then a second, and is too hard to read.

Also, there are too many items floating around in space. There are just to many of them. It looks like a ship ejected everything it had inside. And add more asteroids, it's becoming harder to find more.

Would it be possible to have booby-prize items that you could beam up from enemy ships. Perhaps you could add some Preperation H and Romulan Ale. (or some of the other items from the original FlashTrek)

hey... i can't destroy the romulan base. Ndak must be behinds this!

Oh yeah, my station stop firing after i upgraded it and about 16 ships built i couldn't find any more rocks to throw at the Romulans. Hm... torpedo loop is still good though :P.

i am losing the ability of torpedoes every onece and a while.

The torpedoes are very buggy in the version you're playing. Anyways it's fixed in the next update, I'll be uploading it today.

I'll mention the pause feature one last time and then stop bugging you.

I can't figure out how to make a pause button work :P Making everything stop isnt as easy as it sounds :D

Perhaps its the size of the soundclip eh?

Yes the sounds are what make the filesize huge. The music would be the first to go. Its still sitting under 1MB, so I'm happy with it so far - the music will stay, but I cant add any more variety to it.

Also, the ships seem to get "stuck" behind resource asteroids

I dont know what you mean...how are they getting stuck? Technically there shouldnt be any interaction between the ships and the asteroids. Weird.

Thats true...they just fight to the death. I'll try to make a retreat behavior for them. When you see one thats heavily damaged you'll be able to click on it and it'll head back to the starbase.

Also, there are too many items floating around in space. There are just to many of them. It looks like a ship ejected everything it had inside. And add more asteroids, it's becoming harder to find more.

I'll fix that, so more asteroids show up than anything else.

Would it be possible to have booby items that you could beam up from enemy ships

I'll add some stuff :)

I'll try to fix all the other bugs mentioned, too.

PS: There are 40 ship names.

Almost done! Some tweaking needs to be done I think. But otherwise the game is fully playable, from start to finish. All options and keys are now working.

Now whether or not it all works is another story. Let me know of any more bugs that appear.

Be sure to enter your name and your ship name...if you leave it blank your game will not be saved. The game saves itself at the beginning of each era. It saves the era you are in and the ship class you are commanding. Dilithium and deuranium and special items aren't saved.

Enjoy :P

PS: I dont know why my preloader isnt working very well.

ok, the getting stuck behind resources bug was probably my imagination. Occasionally, a ship starts moving jerkily, usually when there are other ships and resources around.

Is it too late for suggestions?

Cause I have one. Would it be posible to ahve a calling button. It would pull up a list, and you could call a certain ship, instead of the entire fleet coming to help you.

i Built the most ships i could have in a fleet on lvl1. on lvl2, most of my fleet was destroyed. i only had 5ships left. it says that the system cant support any more ships.

I personally limited the number of objects the game can create at any 1 time. It's not bad, actually. There are 2 station, 20 stars, 10 possible enemy ships, 10 possible allied ships, your ship, and however many objects appear. Its to prevent the game from lagging.

No, I had 10ships on the first level. On the second level more then half of them died off. I went to build a new ship, and it said that the station can't support any more ships. That's teh problem I had.

Webby recently changed the post view count from 10 to 15...thats why the number of pages decreased, because there are more posts visible per page now.

It's not 15. It's around 25 now. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

In fact, I calculate that we will finish the page in 7 posts.

Earlier today, I had my daedulus' shields up, and i transfered to an excalister. well, the excalsiter was at 0degrees, and the sheild was at 280degrees. No matter which direction I was pointed in, the shields stayed at 280degreese.

Oh, I noticed that you made the Romulan Ale larger. Thanks. :P

Just another game I'm planning on making in the same FlashTrek style. I'll have to see if RomWars is popular enough to make me excited to do another one :P

I got to the same bugs as Darrik and Nem. I lost long range sensors and all the ships disappeared, as soon as they were repaired, I lost an entire fleet of Galaxies and couldn't build new ships. It didn't matter much because I became invincible after that too and beat the game. :-)

When you lost your galaxies...did you try pressing "Home" to see if they were just outside the scanning range?

yup. Nothing showed up. Incidentally, why do they tend to go left when there's nobody left to attack?
