International Friendly STSF

Hey everyone, this message is more intended for the STSF brass, but I'm sure people would like to put in their 2 cents.

Star Trek in general finds it's largest fan base in the United States, nevertheless there are many fans outside of the United States and its timezones.  Within the last few days I've met fans from countries such as China (Hong Kong), Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Serbia, to name a few.

I know that STSF is nowhere near large enough to support sims that cater to different time zones, but I was wondering if it were possible to make this website more international friendly.  One of the biggest helps would be an international time converter of some sort.  Many international Trek enthusiats that I have met have trouble calculating what time it would be in their country should they want to join STSF.

The point is, Startrek.com is directing many people from both inside and outside of the US to this website.  Perhaps there is more we can do to be more international friendly. :o

My two cents,

GromVik

Ahh, yes, an international time converter. That would be wonderful. I've noticed quite a few Australians, and like GromVik said, Hong Kong people and some UK people. Even if you don't have an actual time converter, just have like a little link directing you to another scheduel in various international times. That should help people out.

I'll look into it and see if we can build it into our new help section.  :o :D
