According to David Suzuki, our planet is like a test tube and we are the bacteria inside it. One minute there was one cell, 2 minute there were 2 3 minute there were 4 and so on. As the population grows the food depletes, all to the 59th minute that we realize that there is overpopulation in our world. They use technology to create 3 more test tubes with more food, and the process goes on until it fills them all. at the 59th minute count backwards, we've realize that our doom is nearing and we can't do anything. This is similar to our case where we are nearing the 60th minute to which our doom will come.
