Trichon

"A little luck never Hurts"

Trichon uttered a small prayer under his breath and rubbed his necklace for luck before he opened the hatch of the marine shuttle. He turned around and looked at the crack retrieval team that had been prepared for this mission. Jacob had indeed been prepared for this moment and the marines were ready for action. Trichon hit the button and lowered the hatch and watched the marines storm out of the Talon.

Trichon didn't even have to be asked twice to lead the mission once the captain had asked for volunteers. He went for two reasons. First and foremost he thought that to find an El-Aurian you use a El-Aurian. Trichon had very little practice in using any of his gifts. Before leaving the shuttle he relaxed his mind and thought of Dac. He called out to her with his mind hoping that it would act as a beacon to her and she would find him. At least she would know that they were there and they were coming to get her.

The second reason was more personal. The last time he left this ship he had done so very quietly. This time he was not leaving as quietly. He picked up his phaser rifle and exited the back of the shuttle behind the marines. This time he woudl tear this ship apart deck by deck to find his commander and in doing so would exact some little bit of retribution for his last visit.
