Back to normal again

Transporting back to the Excalibur, Tar'Mok enters his quarters, meditates and returns to his original post as Science Officer. With the simulated wargames apparently over, Tar'Mok is anxious to get back to his normal routine. The Excalibur will be leaving soon for a new mission soon. Some of the crew are indulging themselves in shoreleave, but Tar'Mok uses this time to finish up on some of his projects.

He replicates some Vulcan tea, and exits his quarters heading for the Science Lab. There doesn't seem to be anyone in here, so Tar'Mok works alone in peace. He was pleased about the Admiral and Capitan's kind words to the two crews' performances during the wargames. He found it rather interesting being a helm officer, and found it easier than he thought. It is also a comorting fact to have another position for Tar'Mok to have "under his belt" as the humans would say.

But a Science Officer is what Tar'Mok signed up to be. He enters the relatively empty Science Lab to complete his projects. It is quite satisfying for everything to be returning to normal, ascertained Tar'Mok. Soon, the Excalibur will be departing for their new mission. After completing all of his projects a few hours later, Tar'Mok proceeds to the messhall for something to eat. He uses the time to contact his family. They are doing well enough, as is Tar'Mok.

Tar'Mok looks at the people in the messhall, previously dispersed on the two ship and now re-united, all arguing over who won the mission, and which ship was better. In a rather sociable fashion. Tar'Mok doesn't know if any ship "won", but it is gratifying to see that the ship is "full of life" again. They also are curious about their new mission as well. But Tar'Mok shrugs. In time, Tar'Mok will know. He continues eating his meal, and looks out of the window at his surroundings.
