I began my shift reprting for duty in main engineering attempting to make certain modifications to increase warp core power output when Lt.Mclean called me into his office where he wanted me to report on the status of Ens.Cruz who did not show up for duty again he also wanted me to report on the status of the team in the cargobay who had begun dismantaling the romulan probe. After all that was finished i was to report to the cargobay to help out the team in dismantaling the romulan probe. We had almost finished removing all the data christals when the prob began emitting a high frequency communiquer towards an old romulan base in their part of the neutral zone. When we tried stopping the the transmission the probe fired one of it's boosters which in turn caused me and the hermekian engineer to fly backwards and hit the bulkhead. I myself sustained minor burns and a hairline fracture to my skull the hermekian well i dont know about his status but i believe it was roughly the same. After reporting to sickbay to get fixed up i reported to main engineering where Lt.Mclean wanted me to cut power to the whoe deck where the cargobay is situated due to powerfluctuatiations. Unfortunatly i had to cut power to gravity generators as well which will make it very difficult to maintain repairs.....
