R'tor t'Batok's log

Stardate 0403.17

Working on the TAC console R'tor was glad to hear that the scouts and the shield generators were finally linked. Now that they had the shields they could figure out how to get other systems working. Looking up to announce to Destorie that the shields are now ready to be powered up an put online she instead saw a blue flash then no Destorie. Deciding to focus on the console while Dak is off doing elements know what, she started another sequence into the console trying to get the encryptions off. Hearing an announcement that she was now in command came at a sunrise. Looking up to see who made that announcement her eyes came to rest on the squid that appeared to be running the show.

Choosing to stay stationed at tactical R'tor checked the console over. Looking to see what she still has power to and what has none at all. Still not pleased with that blasted encryption code that must have been put in place by Laehval. She drummed the console hitting the buttons getting more annoyed with not being able to get through the coding. Pushing herself away from the console to do some thinking on the problem at hand she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Okay, what can I do with what I have." she asked herself.

Slowing her breathing to calm herself and clear her mind she started going over what they had lost control of. Making a check list of what they still had control of and what she didn't know about she opened her eyes and looked to the console. Getting the list fully put together she then tapped the console checking the status of a few systems.

Bringing up the computer command structure she checked on the command codes for some of the key ship functions and voice commands that are rarely given. Then she brought up some a ship chrono checking to make sure it was still keeping time at the right pace. Glad to see that it was she then brought up the computer speaker system to make sure they ship wide speakers could still be used. Glancing over to another screen she noted that the HIC still had power distributed to it. Nodding to herself she then checked on the emergency systems hoping that those were still accessible.

Mentally putting her next set of moves and backup plans together in this battle of engineering skills and wits, she checked on the shield status she then went on to checking on the internal sensors seeing that those were disabled and gives the console a glare. Giving the squids a slight nod she mentally smiled at the nicely formulated plans that she was about to throw into motion. If only she had those encryption codes cracked this would be so easy.
