Afterwards

Afterwards

El'Arrain Morgana t'Ksa

Maenak Morgana t'Ksa finished her report on the incident in medical, sent the copies to the appropriate crewmembers and sighed. Leaning back in her chair at her workstation, she rubbed her neck a bit. Although the kaleh slash had been repaired and no serious damaged had occurred during the incident, she still found herself unconsciously checking to see if her head was still attached to her body. Catching herself in the act again, she let out a strangled chuckle and sighed heavily reflecting on the events as she remembered them.

The man who's body now currently occupied a slot in the ships morgue stasis field had seemed to be polite and friendly towards her everytime they met. He had come to medical with general complaints of illness. Unfortunately she'd only begun the necessary scans for treatment when one of the security officers startled the ill Enarrain. That's when all Areinnye broke loose and the delusional Tamak took medical hostage, activated a biohazard lock-out of medical and managed to give Ksa io dozy of a kaleh scratch across her neck.

She supposed others now thought she was veruulish for na fighting back. But to do so in this case, she felt, would have endangered the lives of those in medical. The only other course of action was to keep the Enarrain's attention focused on her then get him out of medical where she could fight back without fear of others getting hurt. The plan was working too, until some io dropped something in the background causing the ill Enarrain to snap again, suspect Morgana was out to get him (which she was to some extent), and started to choke her. Had the others na taken that opportunity to pounce on the occupied Enarrain, the El'Arrain would have been "up a creek without a paddle" as the Terran phrase goes.

She had felt sorry for the man, although na so sorry as to agree with Etre Lerks that security be present during what was her examination of the dying Tamak. After all, she did na want another encore performance as a hostage.

Ksa leaned further into her chair, resting her head upon the back. She'd seem to it that the proper arrangements had been made and that the stasis field was in working order. Her trust in those she served with was shaken due to the incident. Nothing like having io of au's crewmates to attack au to give io a jolt.

Softly she sighed again, also recalling the jest about hoping medical had enough ice for the Enarrain's body. "I hope that does na mean what I think it means. I really do na want to unpack my ruby tr'Slippers again," she muttered, then started to chant with a wry grin. "There's no place like home…there's no place like home…"
