Alien vs. Predator

OK, the release date is set for August '04 and the trailer is out. It's going to happen. They mean it this time!

 

I did the poll for Freddy vs. Jason so it's only fitting I do it for this too.

 

My money is on Predator.

I think my money is on the Aliens alien. It seemed to be pretty smart on the movies there, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's another tie.

It wasn't a tie in Freddy Vs. Jason, Jason won.

They left it vague. Jason survived with his body intact but he might have been being "controlled" by Freddy if you caught the very last clips of the film.

 

Then again, Jason X was in the future so we know he survived at least until then in whatever form.

Meh, I dont really think it matters.

 

The Preditor, and the Alien both, are sub characters. There are many more of them, not just some Freddy Vs. Jason movie.

 

Dont expect the action to focus on which individual is better, but rather...how each is better at killing us, the humans!

It all depends on what you mean by "better" I suppose. The Aliens will probably have a higher body count but the Predators do it with more finesse.

In Predator 2 wasnt it already established that the Predators hunt down Aliens and kill them? They had a skull from an Alien in their ship.

Did they? Really? Now I need to go back and watch it again. I know there was a complete line of Alien vs Predator comic books and video games and whatnot.

Vex is correct, there was a skull. This is also shown in the 'Behind the scenes footage" for those that haven't seen it. The Behind the Sceens also gives you a brief story background, that the Predators use the Alien hunt, as their 'right of passage', they send 5 young Predators, to deal with a horde of Aliens. If they survive..well, then I guess they're now adults :shrugs:
