Fortress Excalibur

Brian Graham

Acting Chief of Security

USS Excalibur

Stardate 200402.23

Brian Graham continued to monitor the information being presented to him on the Bridge console he presently occupied.

It was a welcome change to be sitting on the Bridge among more seasoned crewmembers instead of a random patrol. Not that he hated those patrols, however any time on the Bridge was a welcome change, not to mention that this is where all the fun was.

The Security Department had not seen much action so far on the Wargames exercise. It didn't come as a suprise to Brian though, seeing as Starfleet was primarilly concerned with exploration. Howeer, that didn't stop Brian from giving Security a thorough work out.

As acting Chief of Security for the Excalibur, Brian had taken several precautions regarding starship security. Multiple security teams were continuously patrolling the ship and sensitive areas had at least two guards minimum posted to them. All Security teams checked in on a variable time table with both the Bridge and the Security office. Furthermore, Intuder scans were run continuously on all decks.

Even to Brian this amount of security seemed excessive, but he also considered the resourcefulness of the crew of the San Francisco. The last thing Brian wanted was armed intruders having a field day on the Excalibur.

Although he couldn't guarentee the Excalibur 100% invasion-proof, Brian was determined not to make it easy for them...
