juss a small bug, the planet in the top left of some pages is loading kinda wrong, a bottom part of it is loading kinda shifted to the right a lil, but overall, good job!

Webmaster, the page looks great, but this HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE thing at the top of the message boards is REALLY anoying. The visit the message boards at ST.com. There has got to be some way to get that thing smaller at least.

How does it look now?  

 

Earlier...  I was working with Atragon 9 to add in the reference to StarTrek.com's board...  and he said that the link I had was not big enough.  It was set to size 2 text (about the same size as the body text on the main STSF.net front page)...  and he said "Bigger!  Bigger!"

 

So me being the smart allec I am decided to jump it from size 2 to size 7.    :D  As you can imagine...  that's quite a jump.  lol...  I had no intention of leaving it like that.  But I had to have a little fun with him.  :o

 

Anyway...  long story short...  it's changed.  Whatcha think?  :)  We may be doing a little more minor adjustment to it in the next day or so...  but that will come after talking a bit more.

I personally think it's anoying. It's a big thing of text I have to ignore on every web page. Kinda takes away from teh fun of having no banners anywhere on the STSF.net page.

 

I can understand why it has to be there, but I shaln't lie, it is anoying.

We're still investigating ways of shrinking it down some.  :D  Don't worry about that.  All of us pretty much feel the same way.  It's just a matter of finding out "how low can ya go".  ::o:

Can you not just put it on the first page of the message boards? Does it really have to be everywhere?

Right now...  the only way to build it into the skin is to put it on every page.  The front page is very picky...  if I manually build it in...  then I can chance corrupting the automatic updating of the board's front page.  

 

But like I said...  we're working on something better.  (BTW...  I've added a feature where you can see where other people are on the boards.  You will now know if they are in a forum or viewing the same exact topic you are!)
