To Mom:

 

 

Hi mom, although you're probably 5000 years older if we found you, you'd still be pretty and dad'd still be old sigh.... Well i'm finally settling in aboard the ship Called Manticore, you have to see it mom, its a great ship, with a great crew although our mission has taken a turn of unexpected events... you could say...planet side to be exact.

 

I miss you mom, i wish we can be back at our house again with Jimmie doing his science homework and dad plucking onions from the dirt, and you'd still be washing dishes :). I wish every thing would be back to normal. After two months of fresh food i don't if i'll ever adapt back to replicated stuff.

 

It has been a hard two weeks mom, Lt. Tovan is frustrated on how to get the device he and other officers built to function more efficiently, for now he has got it, with the help of chief garnoopy, to work at 40% of normal efficiency. But he'll want more. I don't think he has slept the past week!

 

I feel that the tension aboard a powered-down ship with limited living space is getting to the rest of us here. i wonder what is happening down at the planet. It seems so .. beautiful from this view than down there. Nevertheless it seems more at peace down on the surface than up here. I miss earth very much mom, i miss jimmie and dad... i wonder if we'll ever come home. It seems hopeless....(sigh) i miss you mom, dad and jimmie, i hope to see you all again soon..
