Welcome Marsovac. You can join the Academy by just attending an Academy sim in the Holodeck at ST.com. If you click on "Schedule" at the top of the forum in the menu selection area, you can see when the Academy sims are. Just show up then, and you'll be in the Academy.

ok you first go to startrek.com and then communitiessign up for an account there then all you have to do is look at the stsf.net schedual and check to see when the academies are and all you do after that is attend the academy until you graduate  :D    :D    ;)    :)

It is hard. Too hard. I've been trying to attend the academy every night for a week with no luck.

These chatrooms don't work. PeopleLink says it knows about the problem,

but I've been trying to "sample" STSF for 2 weeks now and still I can't get in.

Now that I actually want to attend an academy, it's even worse. Because I want to get in

at a specific time. As I write this, as I have been for the past 3 academy days, I've been trying

to get into the room by the "repeat" process tip someone gave me. Since it's been 20 minutes,

I guess I'm out of luck. I'll just have to try next week I guess. There's some alternative chatrooms, but

since I dont have the link memorized theres no way for me to get there. They might not be working for

the academies anyway. Even if they were, I tried them last night, and I can't use them apparently becaue I have

a Mac. I really want to join and play in STSF, but I guess its just not going to work for me now. I'll keep trying. Eventually maybe I'll get to play.

I wish I could figure out what's not working for you, Xiang.  I just came out of the Academy in the Holodeck room.  There were 18 players in there and although we had some troubles getting in (yes, it's better than before but still being worked on by PeopleLink), we had a good stable environment for those attending.  It might be the Mac interface with the Java applet.  You should make sure that you are using a recent version of Java.  I believe that Rob and HD posted a link to the online location for that.

I agre with Xiang,it is hard,to hard.I will try to join at Sunday!!!I hope that I will,and I hope that you-Xiang will join the Academy too,and thet we will training together!!!See you on the Academy,I hope.Or see you in space,all of you guys.  :)    ;)    :D
