Personality Profile:

   Hayden Dacotah is classified as Melancholy-Phlegmatic (Choleric): Perfectionist. She is a systematic, precise thinker and tends to follow procedure in both business and personal life.  Extremely conscientious, she is painstaking in work which requires attention to detail and accuracy.  

Perfectionists will desire specifics on what is expected, how much time is required, and how the work will be evaluated.  They can make major decisions but may be criticized for the time span they require.  In particular, Perfectionists bog down in details in the decision-making process.  Although they like to check out the opinion of their supervisors, Perfectionists do take risks when they have the facts and can interpret and draw conclusions.  

Perfectionists want reassurance and personal attention.  However, they have been reinforced early in life in terms of how well they do things, not for who they are.  They tend to react to personal compliments with the thought, "I wonder what this person wants?!"  Acceptance of sincere reinforcement for who they are can increase their self-confidence.

Personal History:

A graduate of Columbia University Medical School, specializing in Genetic Manipulation. She completed her internship at The Mayo Clinic under the tutelage of Dr. Remy Hillier. Due to inappropriate actions on the part of her mentor, Hayden left The Mayo Clinic. Consulting with a fellow Colombian Alumni, Alexandra Dane, Hayden made the choice to follow her mother and brother into Star Fleet.

 

Hayden graduated the Academy on stardate 9902.05 and was posted as an Assistant Science Officer on the USS Arcadia under the command of Captain Christopher Moose.

 

As an El-Aurian, Hayden is able to sense the presence of Q. A former crewmember was masquerading as a human, though Hayden discovered her secret. They became friends and both chose to keep each others race to themselves.

 

The Arcadia was flung 200 years into the future where Hayden met her future self, now calling herself Serena. It was Serena's plan to lock Hayden away so that she would be able to take her place in the 24th century and use her knowledge of future events to her benefit. With her crewmate's (a Q) help they were able to thwart Serena by entering the continuum nexus and anchor Serena's time line so that she would be unable to leave her own time.

 

While successful in thwarting Serena's plan the trip into the nexus was disastrous for Hayden. Unprepared for the experience, the trip aged the young El-Aurian prematurely, bringing forth abilities that should have taken hundreds of years to fully manifest. Many sabbaticals to visit her mother, brother and godmother, Guinan have helped her understand these abilities, how to use them, and the immense responsibility that goes along with such a birthright.

 

Following a mission to a Mirror Universe, where her Chief Medical Officer was lost, she began dating and later became engaged to Science Officer Sidney Jordan. A ruptured plasma conduit ended Sidney's life. After Sindey's death Hayden discovered that she was pregnant, however the pregnancy ended in miscarriage. She has not been seriously involved with anyone since that time.

 

Promotions and career changes are not uncommon, nor is adversity. She has been stalked by her mentor, Dr. Hillier - who still remains at large. She has been kidnapped and held hostage by a group of Founders (remember Ed the Vorta?). Seen her mother reunited with her former husband from the 20th century and gained her stepbrothers, Lt. Commander Christopher Marx (MIA) and Lieutenant William Marx. She has impersonated the wife of Gio Moderi in order to gain information on the mysterious Coalition. At the present time, Hayden is suffering from short term memory loss. Attacked by Major StarDust while commanding an away mission, she was struck repeatedly with a blunt object.

 

Currently the Commander is being held prisoner aboard the Romulan ship, Talon. Under the interrogation of KhreRiovtRex, her middle digit was severed and replaced by a silver prosthesis. Left behind by the Arcadia, under the premises that she was killed in the altercation, she awaits further meetings with the KhreRiov. (and wonders if there is a decent colorist on the Talon)
