Captain Fred Michaels

"Begin recording,

All of the Reaent's crew have been recovered from the Class-N world below. With most of the ship's primary systems restored, our focus again turns to the numerous questions which we have no answers to. With any luck, our ability to get complex scans of the Probe will provide further details.

What information we have been able to gather has been disturbing and requires further analysis. The science department has discovered some type of small indentation in the cylinder of the Probe's hull. Analysis seems to indicate it was caused by the energy release of well over twenty vessels of Borg origin. While it's clear this damage occurred almost a million years ago, the implications are astounding.

It may indeed be possible this Probe engaged and destroyed an entire fleet of Borg Cubes with only a dint in it's hull. If we are able to develop a method of solid communication, this technology could seriously benefit the Federation. However, at this stage, I would be more concerned about learning how this gigantic monster of the cosmos navigates. Hopefully it would be enough to get us somewhere close to home.

End recording."
