Grey skies

“Grey Skies”…Kroells’s logs (log 58)

Travis sighed as he walked out of main engineering, he couldn’t get McLean at the best of times, and the fact that he hadn’t killed Kroells with some sharp object confused him, he seemed like he liked that sort of thing….maybe that was why Travis didn’t really have any clear chain of command in his department, just clueless crewmen running around all the time…

O’Connor meowed in his arm, liking getting out every once in a while. For the obvious reason that having a cat running around in the corridors of the ship wouldn’t look good on his record, the poor cat was locked up in his quarters. The cat was visibly happy, even if the reason he was out was due to the fact that the crew was abandoning ship due to the lack of good lighting, or something like that.

He walked up to McLean’s pod, and tapped on the panel on the side of the entrance. The hatch slowly opened, and Travis sighed and walked in. O’Connor groaned in protest, wanting to be in the halls again, Kroells looked down at him, “Oh shut up! In a couple of minutes we’ll be stranded on an alien world, and you can roam the wilderness all you want!”

If a cat would smile, it would, O’Connor instantly shut up and looked out the window, imagining the out doors once again. Kroells sighed and looked out to the corridor again, waiting for McLean to run in and start yelling at him…all the way down…Travis had picked up a small storm rolling over the continent before the black out…maybe McLean would get hit by lightening while we’re down there…Maybe…
