Though by no means am I a hardcore football fan, I do like the New England Patriots vs. the Philadelphia Eagles to meet in Super Bown XXXVIII in Houston. They've got the defense and offense needed to reach it. However, by no means am I willing to put money on it, since I'm more of a hockey and basketball fan. :)

Just like my predictions in the Championship post said, I've got Eagles vs. Patriots.

Just hope my predictions hold up. But we'll know in 24 hours. Well we'll know if it's going to be Colts or Patriots, and we might know if it's going to be Panthers or Eagles in that time.

Just gotta wait and see. :)

P.S. You guys sure do love your polls. :)

I've gotta say Eagles/Patriots with the Pats taking the final game. (I have a couple people I'm very good friends with that insist that I cheer for New England, lol. Since the Rams and the Chiefs were knocked out in the same weekend, I said sure. lol)

When it comes to football I have a very scientific method of determining the winner... whatever team has the best looking helmets. :)

The Super Bowl is the NFL's championship game, first played in 1966, when the Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 35-10.I'm not sure why's it's called Super Bowl.. perhaps because the arenas are shaped like bowls? Argh, Carolinas beating Philly 14-3. with about 11 mins to go in the 4th. Come on Eagles! :)

Ya know they are actually going to have a special on HBO about the first Super Bowl and how a lot of people didn't like the name Super Bowl. It didn't make much sense to any of them. I'm sure that would interesting to watch.

And it doesn't look Philly might pull this out of there hat. The Panthers defense is just punishing them. It's shameful. :). Oh well, gotta represent the NFC South (Which my Bucs represent but got third this season, there is always next season). Go Panthers....:D

Actually, there used to be American teams in the CFL ten years ago.. Sacremento, Baltimore, Birmingham, to name a few. Now, though it's purely Canadian. ::sees ANderson clear the jump on the Panthers' banwagon:: :)

Ooooooooooo. I understand now. It's the trophy and/or championship game for the CFL....I persume. :D. Like the Vince Lombardi trophy that the Super Bowl champs get.

::Waves to everyone as the the Panthers Bandwagon heads off to Houston:: :).

Well, it's official. There's no way that Philly can win. The Panthers are off to the Super Bowl. I should have use my logic rather than my pity for the Eagles. I knew the Panthers defense was going to run them down. What a shame to lose two back to back Championship games at home. What a pitty....

Go Panthers! :).

Sorry Philly....

Actually they have scientific evidence to support that Travis, Where people are cautious of certain things that happened to their ancestors, this is also evident in the reasons in separate food tastes for an ancestor may have had a bad experise with a certain food and it is passed on genetically. Food tastes are also not completely determined by genetics also there is also personal experences and simple phychology stuff. This is on topic you know food Super bowls and such

Just like Grom said. 'Your point? :) '. Told ya that your hatred of the Pats was going to come back and bite ya in the rump. I personally enjoyed watching both of the games. I wasn't surprised with the Panthers win over the Eagles. The Panthers team was strong enough to hold Philly back and win. Not to mention that they took out McNabb which was a huge blow to Philly.....Tsk tsk tsk.....

::Grumbles:: Grom was the only one who's predictions were right on....Lucky no good.... :)

Well if I am Andy ried, I start getting my resume ready...the city of brotherly love isn't going to have much love left for him...at any rate I can at least root for Carolina...Saurbraun (sp) is a WVU Alum so it won;t be all that bad...as long as those blamed patriots don't win

Now that the Superbowl combatants are finalised, I'm gonna for for the Patriots to win and take Vince home to Boston. Kinda of a Pats fan, so I'd like to see that :)
