Tovan left the bridge after a meeting about how to get home, assumptions, theories and attempts that were still on the drawing board. He was overwhelmed when the away team on the surface had reported that the pyramids on the surfaces was.....eroding.....and it so would suggest that we are not in the past but in the future. This would cause confusion and more confusion and more confusion to all the crew, but this is some thing to expect when it comes to time travel. The variables and odds are against us, and now a new situation has risened, to further the complication.

 

During the time when He was on the bridge, Tovan couldn't see anything that resembles a space station/ship/probe/satelite. "have we really gone forward in time?" He asked him self that questions in his head in a loop but for the 43th time he could not answer. The varibles were too great, the possibilities were too great. For all Tovan knew, the ship could be in any of the infinite alternat universe. Devisions so vast, its....its...its....overwhelming.

 

Tovan thought about the possibilites more over, 5000 years is really along time. And many events could have occured....Romulans ruling the alpha quad., more borg incurions, Perhaps the federation it self never existed, Perhaps the klingons never existed. perhaps the romulan seperation with the Vulcans never took place...perhaps Vulcans never existed. Tovan stoped thinking as he realizes his thoughts has turned in to a real feed back loop.

 

Tovan thought about the crew. What will they think? This is a overwhelming piece of information that possibily determine our next decision or action, as well as killing off crew moral. Well it was better off when the news came after the reaction chamber was welded in place, or else they won't work as hard...Tovan decides to cut down his coffee comsumption...

 

Tovan thought more about the Manticore it self, its energy consumption and output, then he thought about how the future effects the past. If some thing were to happen to even a single cell organism, that organism may not exist in that timeline's past. ........ if the away team got a life form in that soil/dirt/sand, and it were to dissapear......that thing will cease to exist in the past and the future of the future we are in right now.

 

Tovan looks over the data Ensign Castle had given him, It's not much to work with but it should do for this evening, for he will not be sleeping tonight. As they all say, its back to square one.
