and THIS is my Chief of Security?

::Sitting in the Command Chair on the Bridge, wishing that he hadn't closed off the Ready Room for resource budgeting::

Well, we are still in the past and along with parts of the ship, some members of the crew are becoming unstable as well. Lt. Commander Roget, the former Megan Cummings ::small sigh:: is now having problems with her cranial implant which is leading to some sort of telepathy and some erratic behavior ::gingerly feels the left side of his face, even though it's been completely healed:: Dr. Mele does not want her returned to her post any time soon and I agree with his assessment. I'm not sure that the good Security Chief agreed with us, however, and so I've had to let an assault on a superior officer go without notice to the files. We have enough troubles being back in time, without dealing with a Starfleet disciplinary action. Hell, there isn't even a Starfleet to worry about right now.

I wonder if that could be part of the cause? Maybe her cranial implant just makes her more sensitive to the temporal environment and she is... Reverting? but to what?? Will others on the crew start to react similarly erratic as time goes on? Will Roget return to herself if we can return to our own time? Which "herself" will she become?

::rubs his temples:: Now I remember why I hated the Academy classwork on temporal mechanics, it always gave me a headache. That and Roget's right cross to the jaw, I suppose. I know people aren't looking at me differently and her attack hasn't altered my ability to command... yet. But what if the rest of the crew starts to change? Will she become a leader of the "opposition"? I will have to keep more of a watch on her than I already do. And I wanted my own command why???
