Subject: time paradox

SD 50312.27

After reporting his new findings to the colonel Tovan decided to take a little break. He walked to this quarters and thought about time travel.

::Computer Begin Recording::

Time Travel.....Some believed it was impossible. Some believed it was improbable. I think it should be banned.

What does the term "polluting the time line" mean? I do not fully understand the term but i know it means doing something that would change the course of time. So by being in the past not effect the timeline? .... its hurting my head.

Every second we stay in the past the more likely we will corrupt the passage of time in the past. Of course we haven't been in contact with any ailen species yet. But being here, just being here wouldn't it count as polluting the time? Every second about 0.00000000000000000000000000000001% of deuterium is lost from our tanks. Every second, hydrogen atoms are collected by our buzzards and converted to Helium and energy. Every second energy is used by the systems on The Manticore. For all those reasons are we affecting the timeline? Are we? I do not know!! it seems logical but then it doesn't

What if we take material from a neighboring system? isn't that affecting the timeline? The more i think about it logically and illogically the more i get a mental overload. I just do not fully understand it. The materials, the atoms, the subatomic particles, antimatter, plasma, deuterium, tachyons, even subspace. We take them or leave them, Affect them or not, it wouldn't go back to where they belong, and it wouldn't go back to normal that would mean an imbalance? wouldn't that affect the time line??

I should give up while i'm ahead of my self. I'm going to take a nap now.

::end recording::
