However, I've gotta report to you...I was scouting around in my shuttle in the Kavis Alpha Sector, right near where those nannites were granted colonization rights on planet Kavis Alpha IV, and I picked up a rogue transmission from some earth-like planet an indeterminate distance away. I'm rushing it back to Starfleet Headquarters. This is too sensitive to send by subspace.

 

Maybe a nearby starship can take this straight to HQ. I know the Prime Directive says we mustn't interfer, but it is important to track the progress of this. The impact upon the earth's similar species could be tremendous. Here's the transmission (just click on it):

Methinks my family has gone a bit loopy. They gave me a really nice, giant buckskin purse....but it's a giant buckskin purse. They said it was for my laptop, which is still to big to fit in there anyway, but...a giant buckskin purse? To their credit, we did manage to sneak several pounds of Christmas candy into the theater with that thing, only carrying it around was a mild embarassment. Oh well, they tried. I ended up having lots of fun with my fiance's family, and not because of the gifts. No, rousing rounds of "Fleas on My Dog" and poker marked this holiday as one to remember ;)

I can't complain at all. Christmas was wonderful, though extremely tiring. While I didn't get every single thing I could have wanted, no one ever does. I consider myself lucky to have been able to receive what I did. I know there are other folks who were less fortunate than I and who probably had relatives unable to afford nice gifts. I'll count my blessings and be grateful for what I've been given. ;)

Hehe, even if I dont celebrate christmas any more, I still accept the gifts, that policy works rather well...

 

I invented my own holiday, and it went off with out a hitch.

 

You know the greatest thing about egging houses? The yoke and stuff will freeze on the siding if it's cold enough out!

My Christmas was amazing. I got everything that I wanted. Even my lifesized Gandalf! And my sister got her Lifesized Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn!! lol I'm just kidding. We didn't get either one of them.

 

I did get a smoothie maker though. It's really cool, it's much faster than a regular blender. Only thing is that we are all out of fruit now. ;).

 

All and all it was a great christmas :(.
