Chat room problems?

I'm not sure if this is where this post should go, but whatever.

 

I can't seem to get into the Chat Rooms on the Star Trek website. Is this a common issue or is it just me? I click on the link and it brings up a new window by it has an X where i guess the chat room should be.

 

Any tips or suggestions would be helpful.

You may not have Java or a very old version, it happened to a friend of mine :)

Try reinstalling Java. Goto www.java.com and click on GET IT NOW on the right hand side of the screen. Then go clear your temporary internet files, reboot your computer, and then try again. :)

The other thing you may want to check out is if you have a firewall. I had major issues with a firewall blocking the port. Still haven't discovered what port the chat rooms are on.
