nearly 3 years on the manticore

Lt. J.G. Tovan

Personal log

It has been nearly 3 perhaps less years since i have served on the manticore. From getting caught in the cross fire of romulans to playing "spy" on a star base trying to seek out a smuggler, USS Manticore N.C.C. 5852 will never cease to amaze me. And now? where are we? I do not know much but i know this, we travelled 5000 years back in to the past. The past.....when earth was a pollutent free blue-green globe. Except the people there are ancient, more ancient than zerferm Cochrane. Ironic.....He has not even been born yet....

The first time i stepped on to main engineering was about three years ago. I was looking forward to meet the crew, Bokrah, our leading warp specialist, and Lt. Garnnoopy, the chief engineer. Alot has change since i came aboard, many promotions, many spills and chills, my first tast of kanar, my first time of firing a phaser at a romulan....and my first time at the warp cores. The admiral, wise and full of ideas, others aboard too have excellent ideas if not exotic.

Yes, indeed the crew have wonderful, painful and ......some other experiences aboard the manticore. And now? we are in the past, i wonder how we are going to get out of this one......

Repairs:

Main power at 74%

Main EPS grid 52% and deteriorating

Secondary EPS taps, 22%

primary warp core, offline

Secondary warp core, running double shifts, power output is deterioring

63 command relays are done

Yes, yes, an engineer's day is full of repairs, i must get to them now.
