Hong Kong is located at the end of the Maylay (sp?) pennisula. As for your question tino, If the earthquake was strong, yes he might have felt slight aftershocks, the type of 'rock' there carries siesmic waves quite well, although to him it might just have been a slight vibration.

Actually you're part right. Hong Kong and a great deal of mainland China were occupied by Japan during WWII. You were only off by about 60 years or so. Then again time isn't linear...

Well Dumbass the statement about time not being linear is only half right in the aspects of the theory the area of that we live and can view is linear only when we can leave our time does it stop its function as linear and also its only a theory :D

The rock type in China is actually a lot better than that in Vermont so they dont have to be as strong in China to carry over long distances. Wow I am really geeky. :D

Actually I'll stand by what I said. Time is not linear, but humans are only capable of observing it in a linear fashion. Even for those species that are capable of seeing it nonlinearally (as the El Aurians, Borg, Q, and maybe the Travelers are) it isn't often this ability is relevant to their day-to-day lives. But that doesn't change the alinear characteristic of time.

 

My point is that the characteristics of time don't change just because we are only looking at or experiencing a portion of it at the moment. I don't use my apartment's pool or hot tub when the weather is cold. That doesn't mean they aren't there, or that their essential characteristics have somehow changed.

Yeah, I like Talis chose Dionysus. My friends are quite impressed with how much alcohol I can drink without getting drunk and pasing out. (Current record: 4 beers, 2 glasses of wine) :D

Yeah, darn right I watch Inuyasha. It's one of my favourite anime series of all time. But going back on topic, though I don't drink often, I find myself being albe to drink large amounts without being drunk. The only exception is off some Jamaican rum which as like 95-100 proof. Whoa, man. I was really reliving Dionysus then. :)
