"Time and Patience."

(( Sorry for the lateness of this log... I believe some people were wanting it out earlier. It's been a long week. :D Here it is. ))

(( Although many of you didn't know her, AmbT'Neya passed away in September. She was the Chief Editor of Commlink, which is an online simming newspaper. Many STSF GMs knew her, and she will be missed. ))

Lieutenant Hewitt Demore

Chief Engineering Officer

Sky Harbor Aegis

Demore looked around the Control Tower, which was virtually in pieces. All three viewscreens in the room had been destroyed, along with most of the consoles. "This is going to take a long time to clean up," he mumbled. Looking around, Demore noticed his console. Pylon Two had suffered a massive power failure. Luckily, the computer relays had stopped the cascading power failure in Pylon Two from going through the Midway section, and causing power outages in Pylon One. However, neither Pylon had been spared massive damage.

As he continued to survey the damage, Demore picked up a PADD from the console in front of him. Going through the ship's computer, he began to input a Damage Report draft. It didn't look pretty, but it didn't have to. No one had time to read the details.

Demore finished the report, and set out to work. Unsure of Pylon Two's status, Demore knew his priorities. First, repair Main Engineering. Then, get minimal power back online to Pylon Two. At some point within this time, the Control Tower has to be put back together. Demore suddenly realized that time was limited.

Hewitt tapped his commbadge. "All Engineering Crew, begin repair work on Main Engineering. Priorities first: Unless it poses a hazard to this station, Main Engineering will be repaired to minimal working status before any other parts of Aegis are repaired." He thought for a moment. "If you have any questions, ask either Ensign Brex or Ensign Zertz. They know as much as I do." With that, Demore ended the communication. After looking around at the damaged Control Tower, he set out to work.

(( As the week progresses, and [possibly] more logs are sent out, there will be minor updates/repairs to damaged systems aboard Aegis. So, feel free to fix something yourself. :D )
