The return of Opus

OK, it's not about Star Trek, although the comic strip did have several parodies of it, but I know there are several among you who were big Bloom County / Outland fans.

So feast your eyes on this:

Opus

That's right! Opus, Bill the Cat, Steve Dallas - all our favorites are coming back!

You probably didn't grow up in the '80s. But trust me, they were funny strips!

Like I said few months ago Vanroy, it's a funny comic strip, but anything from the eighties is liable for the bbq down below, like me for instance.

You see, his virtue of older then you thing younger then you expect has a little meaning, and speaking of comics, I just bought "It's obvious you wont survive by your wits alone." by Scott Adams, creater of the hilarious dilbert comics...and now to kill time, and exerpt from my favorite one so far.

Dilbert: Do you think people are basically good or evil?

Dogbert: Well, I know dogs are basically good. And dogs are better then people. But people are better then cats. And cats are evil...Therefore all people are stupid.

Dilbert: I don't follow your logic.

Dogbert: Yes, My theory predicts you would say that.

I still have a ratty old t-shirt of the entire gang flying along on their version of the Enterprise... Thanks for the tip, I will surely be looking for anything Burke has to give.

I am very displeased that my newspaper has chosen not to pick up Opus. Not surprising, since they refused to show Bloom County's Mary Kay` Commandos strips, and the editors want nothing to do with Berkely. I will be firing some email salvos their way so I can revisit the adventures of Opus and Bill the Cat.

Oop Ack Thppt!

Perfection is the ultimate and there is nothing above perfection so by saying that you are above perfection only shows you are below perfection for you can not get beyond the level of your own personal ego.

Wow that actually sounded intelligent I rock :D

Colin is on This Hour Has 22 Minutes and the guy he replaced hosted a show called "Talking To Americans" its a lot like that Leno segment when he goes out and talks to people about politics and stuff like that :D

He wouldnt get much of a view of politics from me. All I would say is we need a new president.
