The Manticore is at Starbase 108 under heavy shielding, having just completed an overhaul to make it seem like an entirely new vessel. The crew had been ordered to infiltrate the base's dockworker guild to root out the source of stolen and smuggled Federation technology. Having found smuggled goods and kept them from being delivered, a Breen battlecruiser has decloaked and attacked the station. We are assuming the Breen are the buyers, as they have boarded and then destroyed the supply ship that was to be loaded with the supplies. Manticore has launched and disabled the Breen ship's engines.
