My fav is most definatly the TNG Movie/DS9 uniform. all the uniforms before <Besides the Kirk Movie Era red ones> look like pajamas.

I know it's off topic, but i couldn't help but notice. this poll was apparently from way back when LoAmi was just an ensign! You found a historic topic, Riko!

 

I try to see the TNG/movie uniforms, although occasionally backtrack to the older TNG ones.  Mostly because Arcadia is a Sovereign class and it just makes sense to have the latest in Starfleet fashion. But, then again, I've watched so much TNG, it's hard not to have the image embedded in my head :-)

I noticed that too when I saw the topic revived from the dead. My official bio for Arc still has the topic "Ensign Arphazad Lo'Ami character bio (Assistant Science Officer)." I really expected to be an ensign a lot longer than I actually was.

 

On topic: my answer to this one hasn't changed. Seeing the TNG uniforms, though, now may have something to do with the reruns on G4 and Spike.

Okay, when I sim, mentally I go to the DS9-TNG movie uniforms with the gray shoulders and black uniform.

 

Why? Beats me. TOS is my favorite, so I'd think logically I would mentally pounce on that design. Plus the fact, Agincourt uses those nifty future uniforms as well that have a slight overtone to them of the TOS tunics.

 

But, anyway, that is my mental image.

I gotta say TOS for the Academy! I mean with all of the Cadet fatalities that occur there How can you not see a Red Shirt on them! For the advanced sims I think more in the lines of the later DS9 uniforms you know when Sisko went bald!

 

Oh and along the Lines of the early TNG/ TOS movies Uniforms. . . Its not a Skirt its a Kilt. . . !!!

To actually reply to this, I see the TOS Movie uniforms- ST:II-Generations. After all Wrath of Kahn introduced us to the Academy, and the typically ill-fated Kobyashi Maru Scenario. And I think it's kinda cool looking to see the clasp undone and the uniform jacket pulled open.
