Not good

Sitting at the Science Console on the bridge, Tar'Mok watches the drilling sequence of the probe. The probe completes its core extraction, and waits to be picked up. Tar'Mok relays the probe's co-ordinates to Mr. Trichon's shuttle, so Trichon can pick it up. Time passes, at Trichon does just that. However, a high radiation level is detected. Not that logical going in without too much protection from the radiation, Tar'Mok thinks. Trichon returns to the Excalibur, and the probe is deconned. As well, as Mr. Trichon. Tar'Mok is unaware of the details that followed, but soon afterwards, the Excalibur is plunged into darkness. Hmm.. that's not too good. Tar'Mok thinks. Tar'Mok sits at the console, and quitely meditates and thinks of what to do next.
