MISSION BRIEF: Excalibur has arrived at Station D-6 on the edge of the Beardmore Expanse, where their survey mission had first begun several months prior. Engineering is conducting a more complete damage assessment after the jellyfish incident, to determine if they need to put into a proper dry dock or not. The rest of the crew has been given leave.

In the lounge aboard the station, drinking tea, reading a missive from Arden updating him on the latest happenings since they'd been gone.

Wade is clearing paperwork and conducting (very fast) security briefings for crew going on leave.

"We will be checking your belongings when you come back aboard, you know what's not allowed. Don't get arrested unless it's for a very interesting reason. Anyone coming on board with uncleared tech is getting it force fed to them by the biggest Ensign I can find." (edited)

William ran his hand through his hair before scratching at what could no longer be called 5 o’clock shadow. “That really did a number on us.”

Asher sighed. It was the longest the two had actually been apart since getting married. Before that it -- well the distance had never really bothered Asher. Or at least he certainly wouldn't admit to it doing so, but now it did feel strange. He took a drink of wine.

William sighed, he did not like what he was about to say. “We may need the Station Monkeys.”

Depends on what Chocox finds I guess. If we have to put into drydock, it will be a while. If not, I think I can convince fleet to let us go back to Tango for a bit.

Cdr Jalen Stanton> OR... we might need to go to Tango to put the ship into dry dock. ::smirks::

“Probably a lot of the power systems stuff. We need to pull conduits out throughout the ship.”
