Speaking of which... last time, our AT went down to the planet Orinda to find out what they could about the disappearance of the Federation first contact team. They finally got a clue that an anti-warp activity would be taking place at the statue of Endo, which they found, scanned and discovered an unusual energy disturbance under it. Then, there was an extended commercial break.

::brings the CBCO of Dana along through the door::

ACTION> the library lobby is a vast space with a rotunda at the top, balconies going up 5 stories and books on all sides. The lobby has desks of librarians on every side and there are rows of catalog computers if you go straight past the desks.

::goes up to a librarian:: excuse me, are the catalog computers available for guests? we're visiting town and wanted to learn more about the local history.

Librarian> Of course. This is a public :: emphasizes the word, as if disparaging something else... :: library.

Computer> :: only has a keyboard and a strange pointer tracking device ::

::looks at the screen and starts typing on the computer, she's watched old earth movies before::

Computer> :: doesn't always actually type the letters from the keyboard, occasionally the entire screen changes when a button is pressed ::

((he's a historical (or maybe mythical) figure who was referenced in some logs, with locals mentioning him in the context of anti- hyperspace sentiment))

(( nobody knows yet... he has a statue though ))

((the mission is that the first contact team went missing and the logs from their runabout mentioned endo, and we couldn't figure it out so now we're at a library))
