U.S.S. MANTICORE BRIEFING #1367 STARDATE 52606.08

Manticore remains docked at Starbase REDACTED enduring extensive repairs. Meanwhile, two teams have been sent out on crucial missions. Bren, Annika and Pilot have been sent to a civilian research base where they will attempt to retrieve Bren's stolen Ketracel White data. Upon arrival they noticed how eerily empty the facility is. But the amenities are 5-star! Faldek, Harnett and Kansas have been sent to a secret Section 31 station as they attempt to snuff out potential spies within the organization. Faldek and Harnett met with the station commander, Captain Kellerman, who will be working with them to find the spies. They began their investigation, first by looking at the flight craft and now by beginning their interrogations.

I don't know of any hand to hand combat teachers here. Maybe you are waiting for a new ride to a combat team specialist

You can do whatever you want. But As an OPS officer I generally do not delve into personel affairs that you are interested in Cardassian.

I was reviewing and updating the crew medical files. Not quite as intellecutally stimulating as research, but one of my duties as CMO whenever we are at Starbase.

I remember when I first moved to this station, I had to ask the computer to direct me everywhere. I couldn't get from my office to my quarters without a guide.

Glad we weren't alone. I know I'm bad with directions but geez..

It's all so sterile and bright. It's easy to get turned around here.

I apprecaite the offier, but I believe I will be able to complete the file review well before we depart Starbase.

::arrives at a room in the middle of the corridor; a wide window allows them to see inside; plenty of computer stations along with some analysis devices and other equipment sitting on counters in the middle of the room; also against the wall are metal cabinets with small windows; light can be seen emitting from them but from their distance they can't see what's inside; Reed taps a sequence on the door panel and the room unlock followed by the door swooshing open; she walks inside then turns to the group to wait for them all to enter::

:: looks to Harnett :: No Offense Mr. Harnett...

Chang, huh? That will be interesting.

For the record, the deceased you are referring to are??? Other personnel who have left this station have also.....had some unfortunate luck.

we are section, there are risks with the job. But most those who depart the station I must make a note of for personel records and accomidation changes onboard this station.

My client would like us to finish the research and to synthesize active samples. ::pauses to choose her words carefully:: I invited you for this job because of your expertise in chemistry. I understand the delicate nature of this assignment.

'Partial' research?

As I mentioned in the letter I sent, my bosses have authorized you for a premium rate. As a further incentive, you will be granted a sizable bonus should you complete the job.

Yes, partial. Our client presented us with research that wasn't completed yet. It has... signatures on it that stopped me from asking questions.
